FAQs
WHAT IS A FINE LINE TATTOO?
A fine line tattoo is a tattoo created using smaller needles to produce the thinnest and most delicate lines.
FLASH VS CUSTOM DESIGNS?
I tattoo both flash and custom designs.
Flash designs are designs I have drawn and are available to be tattooed.
Custom designs are designs you have picked, you can keep them as they are or you can give me a rough idea and we can come up with a personal design together.
DO I NEED TO PAY A DEPOSIT?
Yes, a deposit is required to secure your booking.
Your deposit goes towards the final price of your tattoo. It is not an extra cost.
DEPOSITS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE
If you cancel your appointment with more than 48 hours notice and you reschedule immediately to another date, you do not need to pay another deposit.
If you cancel your appointment with less than 48 hours notice, the deposit is lost and you will have to pay another one to make a new appointment.
If you have been rescheduled and you cancel a second time, your deposit is lost and will have to pay a new one if you need to reschedule.
Please be aware that if you cancel on the day of your appointment then I am unable to fill the slot and I lose work.
HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO HEAL?
Single needle tattoos usually tend to heal completely within 2-4 weeks. However, this can vary depending on the individual.
WILL I NEED A TOUCH UP?
It's important to know that when booking a fine line tattoo, the smaller, the finer and thinner the tattoo is you may require a touch up once healed. This is totally normal.
With fine line tattoos there is no room for any mistakes or blown out lines so I always prefer to go a little lighter rather than go too deep and blow any lines out.
I always mention this once we have finished the tattoo if not before. If you think your tattoo needs a touch up, wait 4 weeks until your tattoo is fully healed, then email me a clear picture of it and I will get you booked in.
I want you to be 100% happy with your tattoo and offer touch ups free of charge!
You may not always need a touch up as tattoos can heal differently depending on skin types, placement and how well it has been looked after during the healing time.
WHAT DO I NEED TO KNOW BEFORE MY APPOINTMENT?
Do not drink alcohol or take drugs at least 24 hours before your appointment.
Make sure you eat before your appointment and drink plenty of water. Bring a drink of choice (non alcoholic) with you to your appointment.
You can bring someone along with you for moral support.
Wear suitable & comfortable clothing to your appointment so that the area you are getting tattooed is easily accessible.
WHAT SHALL I WEAR TO MY APPOINTMENT?
Arm - Baggy T-shirt, sleeveless top, any top with loose sleeves
Leg - Shorts, baggy trousers
Back - Open back top, shirt or zip up jumper that can be worn backwards so you’re still covered and comfortable
Hip - Baggy trousers, shorts, skirt
Rib cage/sternum - Loose top, oversized shirt, crop top
Foot - Avoid tight shoe. Wear slip on shoes for example, sandals/flip flops/sliders/slippers. This will be more comfortable for you after your tattoo and will also avoid rubbing against your new tattoo.
WILL IT HURT?
Everyone’s pain tolerance is different. It depends on each individual person and the placement of your tattoo. Areas where your skin is thinner eg. feet, hands, inner arm, ankles etc may be a little bit more painful.
However, most people don’t find single needle tattoos very painful and are most of the time shocked at how little it hurts.
To all my ladies please be aware that booking a tattoo around your time of the month may be a little more sensitive!
HOW MUCH WILL MY TATTOO COST?
My minimum charge is £70 for small tattoos eg. A small letter / number /symbol.
Pricing will depend on your design, the level of detail, the size of your tattoo and the time it will take.
You will receive a personalised quote once you have enquired.
HOW DO I PAY?
You can pay the remaining amount via PayPal, bank transfer or cash.
I do not have a card machine.
